Michal Adams was born in Center, Texas and moved to Kirbyville in 1966 when his father became employed at EE Stringer Funeral Home. He graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1981 and went on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University and Commonwealth College of Funeral Service, where he graduated with honors. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with over 35 years of experience and a member of Texas Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. Michael has been with the funeral home since 1988.

Michael and his family are members of Call Junction Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon.

Michael lives in Kirbyville with his wife Lorie, and are the parents of Bradlee and wife Holly, Mikey, Zoey, Shelby, Harlee, Bella, and nieces Khlyi and Marlee; They also have 3 grandchildren, Brodee, Emelia and Oaklee.

Michael and Lorie purchased the funeral home in December of 2007 returning the business to local and family ownership for the first time in almost 50 years.

Michael Taylor Adams "Mikey" gradudated from Kirbyville High School in 2008. He attended Sam Houston State University for 2 years, then Lamar University for2 years, before joining his father and grandfather at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home. He is currently enrolled in the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.

Mikey was born in Beaumont and is a lifelong resident of Kirbyville. He is the father to Oaklee Adams, his daughter.

Ted W. Adams was born in Center, Texas and graduated from Center High School. He went on to attend Commonwealth College of Funeral service where he graduated with honors. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with over 50 years experience and is a member of Texas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, and Kirbyville Lions Club. Ted served as manager and funeral director in charge until turning those duties over to his son, Michael in 2008. He has been with the funeral home since 1966. Ted lives in Kirbyville with his wife Jo and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Casey Liles was born in Jasper, TX and has lived in Kirbyville most of her life. She graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1996.


Casey and her family are members of Call Junction Baptist Church where they are actively involved with the youth group. Her and her husband, Doug share five daughters: Kacie and husband Waylon Fyfe, Emilie Liles, Reagan Smith, Reese Smith, and Logan Smith. They also have two grandsons, Cooper and Corban.


Casey joined the funeral home in October of 2018 and enjoys working closely with each family.
