History
E. E. Stringer Funeral Home began in 1931 with E. E. Stringer, moving to its current location in Kirbyville in 1947. In 1967, a second location was established in Buna. Renovations to Kirbyville were finished in 1987, with the addition of a new chapel and family room. A new chapel and family room were added to the Buna location in 1995. The tradition continued with Adams E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in 2007, when Michael and Lorie Adams purchased the funeral home.

Since 1931, E. E. Stringer Funeral Home has been offering full service funerals and attending to the needs of our community with compassion, caring, and efficiency. In 2007, Michael and Lorie Adams purchased the funeral home from Service Corp. International, bringing local ownership back to the funeral home.
